Gene & Debbe were a pop/country duo consisting of Gene Thomas (December 28, 1937 - August 26, 2012) and Debbe Neville that became famous during the late 1960s. Best known for the flirty duet, "Playboy" (1968), a Top 20 smash and million-seller, other hits include "Go With Me" (1967) and "Lovin' Season" (1968).

Before Gene Thomas and Debbe Neville began working together, Thomas had two solo hits with "Sometime" (1961) and "Baby's Gone" (1963) and was a songwriter for Acuff-Rose publishers. After the duo split, Thomas returned to Acuff-Rose and Neville went solo.
