ABOUT
Jessi Colter (b. 1943) is a highly acclaimed and veteran country singer-songwriter with wistful, expressive vocals and a great deal of crossover appeal who became famous during the mid 1970s. Best known for the self-penned smash ballad, "I'm Not Lisa" (1975), which topped the Country charts and made the Pop/Rock Top 5, other hits include "What's Happened To Blue Eyes"/"You Ain't Never Been Loved (Like I'm Gonna Love You)" (1975). Colter is also widely known for her artistic collaborations with husband Waylon Jennings (June 15, 1937 - February 13, 2002) that include the Grammy-winning "Wanted! The Outlaws" (1976), which became the first country album to become platinum-certified.
