ABOUT
Chi Coltrane (b. 1948) is a veteran female rock and gospel singer, songwriter, and pianist with powerful vocals who became famous during the early 1970s. Best known in the U.S. for the soaring "Thunder And Lightning" (1972), she hit it big in Europe the following year with "Go Like Elijah" (1973) where she has since then amassed a large and loyal following. (Chi Coltrane's first name is pronounced "shy.")
