ABOUT
Mercy is a veteran male-female pop vocal group that became famous during the late 1960s. Best known for the tranquil ballad, "Love (Can Make You Happy)" (1969), a Top 5 hit on both the Canadian and U.S. charts and a million-seller, other hits include "Forever" (1969). "Love (Can Make You Happy)" is featured in the soundtrack to "Fireball Jungle" (1968).
Formed in Florida by lead singer Jack Sigler Jr., the lineup also included Ronnie Caudill, Roger Fuentes, Buddy Good, Debbie Lewis, James Marvell, and Brenda McNish, with a number of personnel changes over the years. Mercy has continued to tour actively to the present day, with Sigler as a member of the current lineup.
