ABOUT
The Pipkins were a novelty duo made up of songwriter/producer Roger Greenaway and singer Tony Burrows (also of White Plains, The Brotherhood Of Man, Edison Lighthouse, and First Class fame). They are best known for the kiddie ditty, "Gimme Dat Ding," which became a Top 10 hit in 1970. This short-lived act also had a minor hit that same year with their version of The Coasters' "Yakety Yak."
