ABOUT
Edison Lighthouse was a short-lived English pop/bubblegum/soft rock group that became famous during the early 1970s. They are best known for the catchy and upbeat "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)" (1970), which topped the charts in Ireland, New Zealand, and the U.K. and made the U.S. Top 5.
Formed in 1969 in London by producer/songwriter Tony Macaulay, the classic hitmaking lineup consisted of lead singer Tony Burrows along with Ray Dorey (guitar), Stuart Edwards (guitar), David Taylor (bass), and George Weyman (drums). A prolific and versatile singer, Burrows is also known for his work with The Brotherhood Of Man, The First Class, The Flower Pot Men, The Pipkins, and White Plains.
