ABOUT
The Fortunes are a veteran English pop/beat group with signature close-knit harmonies that became famous during the mid 1960s and early 1970s. Best known worldwide for "You've Got Your Troubles" (1965), which became a Top 10 hit in the U.S., the U.K. and Canada, other big hits include "Here It Comes Again" (1965) and "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again" (1971).
Formed in Birmingham in 1963, the classic hitmaking lineup consisted of lead singer/bassist Rod Allen (March 31, 1944 - January 10, 2008), drummer Andy Brown (b. 1946), keyboardist David Carr (August 4, 1943 - July 12, 2011), rhythm guitarist Glen Dale (1939 - January 13, 2019), lead guitarist/singer Barry Pritchard (April 3, 1944 - January 11, 1999), with Allen the longest-serving member up to his passing in 2008. After many personnel changes over the years, The Fortunes have continued to perform actively to the present day as a quartet, with an entirely new lineup.
