ABOUT
The Fun & Games were a sunshine pop group that became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for the upbeat and catchy bubblegum classic, "The Grooviest Girl In The World" (1969).
Formed in Houston, Texas, the lineup consisted of brothers Rock (rhythm guitar, vocals) and Joe Romano (bass, vocals), Joe Dugan (keyboards, vocals), Carson Graham (drums), Paul Guillet (guitar, vocals), and lead singer Sam Irwin. This group, which evolved from The Sixpentz, were known as The Fun & Games Commission before shortening their name.
The Fun & Games released one album in 1969, "Elephant Candy," and disbanded soon after. Singer, songwriter and producer Gary Zekley and Mitch Bottler co-wrote the group's hit song, and Zekley produced their album.
