ABOUT
Hotlegs was a short-lived English pop group that became famous during the early 1970s. They are best known for the hypnotic "Neanderthal Man" (1970), a Top 40 smash with faint vocals featuring a heavy drum rhythm throughout.
Formed in 1970, the lineup consisted of Lol Creme, Kevin Godley, and Eric Stewart, with Graham Gouldman later joining the group on tour. Although they gained recognition with "Neanderthal Man," which became a million-seller and a top hit in many countries, Hotlegs struggled to maintain momentum, leading to their rebranding as 10cc in 1972 where they would achieve greater fame with such hits as "I'm Not In Love."
