ABOUT
The Human Beinz are a veteran rock band that became famous during the late 1960s. They are best known for their Top 10 smash remake of The Isley Brothers' "Nobody But Me" (1967).
Formed in 1964 in Youngstown, Ohio, the classic hitmaking lineup consisted of John Richard "Dick" Belley (vocals, guitar), Joe "Ting" Markulin (vocals, guitar), Mel Pachuta (vocals, bass), and Mike Tatman (drums). "Nobody But Me" was followed soon after by their cover of Bobby Bland's "Turn On Your Love Light" (1968), a minor U.S. hit which topped the charts in Japan. The Human Beinz disbanded in 1969 and reformed many years later in 2007. They have continued to perform and tour to the present day, with a new lineup that includes original member Ting Markulin.
