Jimmy Elledge (January 8, 1943 - June 10, 2012) was a country singer with clear, soulful vocals who became famous during the early 1960s. He is best known for his Top 40 smash rendition of the poignant Willie Nelson-penned country ballad, "Funny How Time Slips Away" (1961), which became a million-seller.
